Nowadays the people who are actually considered as the "hidden figures" in this world are the beggars we live in a world in which we continue to make things easier for us to live in luxury and comfortability we invent technologies such as the google home who could play songs for us and we can ask anything from it without even typing a single word we also have Sophia who recently became a citizen in India. People are so caught up with technologies and inventing things that we don't really need but they never had time to look at those people who really needed their help. making the robot costs too much we don't even need her. they just wasted the money in making her. What if instead of making her the inventors just decided to build houses for beggars or just organize a donation for them? in that way they can help beggars have a shelter to live on and not sleeping on the sidewalks. what if instead of making technologies that are unnecessary they start hiring beggars to be a construction worker or even a street cleaner. just by doing that they helped people and they also made the environment a better place to live on. after all they wont lose anything by of helping.

DeleteAfter finished the filming, it showed us the black history in 19 century in America. It showed us the different colourful skin that had the different treatment, and the level of posts had the different workload. In the movie, the white scientists' work were the precision calculation, but for the black women, their jobs were calculate the long, difficult number to gave the white scientists. This situation is very normal in the work, sometimes when the new worker came to the company, there are always some old people use different ways to disturb the new worker.
ReplyDeleteFor example, my neighborhood's child is 21 and he goes to work for a n old company, he had lots of troubles in his work. when he had free time, some old workers would make him feel hard in the work, they give him extra-work to do, and nobody respect him.
When I heard that, it is very sad and terrible. Everyone has to experience from new to mature. when the company recruit the new workers to work in the company, it is like the fresh blood add in the body. When the new worker came in, the manager should hear their voice, I think that is the reason that company can be successful.

ReplyDelete- A current issue that is special right now is the Olympics of Pyeongchang in South Korea. I think there are many hidden figures at work to organize a successful Olympic event. The hidden figures are the staff and volunteers who help facilitate a perfect event. For example, they prepare the ice for skating athletes. Also, they clean all of sleeping accommodations and they offer meals for exhausted athletes. To bring these hidden figures to light, the IOC can mention the staff and volunteers and thank them for their hard work during the closing ceremony. On the other hand, as viewers we should not forget the existence of people who prepared and volunteered the Olympics.
There are many hidden figures around the world so we should try to inform everyone about their presence and achievements.

Every cleaners ,volunteers, film cutters,PDs are all”Hidden Figure” to scoviety. They are paying their attention quietly behind the scenes. If there ar no cleaners, streets will be very dirty. If there are no brokers, the stars’s journey will not be so smooth. If there are no film cutters, the films or pictures won’t look so good. They are not public in front of the person, but they are doing what is neccessnary behind th scences.
“Hidden Figures” are very important in our life. So please respect and remember them.Please treat them with a heart of gratitude. They are also doing their part for the society. Don’t forgot behind very successful man, there is always a”Hidden Figure”.

DeleteOne cannot achieve great success without the help of other people. But most of the time, only the leader can be noticed because they are put under spotlight. However, the hidden figures still play an important role and success cannot be made without them. A current event, which is hosting the Chinese New Year TV show, can best explain this. Each year, workers at the TV channel station choose actors and singers around the world to make sure we can enjoy the best performance. On that day of the new year, millions of people gather together with their families to watch the show. The audience will always talk about performers on screen, but they tend to neglect those people who work really hard on recording and editing, and generating light and sound effect for the show. Those people are actually the hidden figures, they try hard to make the show appealing. Thinking about the world around us, it’s time to bring the hidden figures to light. Personally, I think the TV channel can post a special thank list to appreciate the efforts the hidden figures have made and also, the audience need to be aware that there’s plenty of people that made contribution to provide us with visual enjoyment.

1.The world around us has a lot of "hidden figures". In the world, people easily focus on people who have a high level of achievement. But every successful people's success doesn't come by themselves. Developing a good software doesn't just need a good planning. A good movie aired doesn't just need famous actors. A good company doesn't just need a good CEO. In China, we have a proverb: every beautiful flower needs green leaves. Developing a good software needs hundreds of technicians as well. A good movie also need good cosmeticians, stylists, good director and so on. A good company needs cleaning staffs, hard working employees too. The world doesn't belong to a few people. Light and success belong to everyone. At first, we should know there are many "hidden figures" in the world. They choose different jobs but they all contribute to the great cause. We should pay attention to their needs, if they want, we should help them.

For me, our teachers are my hidden figures. They taught us all the things that we need to know. They work so hard to help us to fly,to achieve our goals. DeleteMany Chinese people have come to Canada this year and more will come in future years. These new Chinese immigrants bring a lot of Chinese music, variety shows, television and movies. As a country with a variety of cultural elements, Canadians should learn more about Chinese culture to truly become multicultural. China is a country with a long history and has many distinctive cultures. If Canadians can learn more about Chinese culture, they will be better able to get along with the Chinese and will make Canada a more diversified nation. I can recommend some Chinese movies or TV shows to foreigners around me, and I can tell them about some of China's traditional culture and let them know more about China.

ReplyDeleteHidden figures are around us . For me, Hidden Figures can be anyone in my life. They can be my parents, my friends, my neighbour, a stranger or they can be myself. Cause anyone can be a lesson for me. My parents have been supporting me since I was a little girl, they taught me how to be a good person, what is community around us?. They have been showing me everything they can know from basic knowledge to important things in the world. They raised and gave me unconditional support. My friends and neighbours showed me how lovely my life is, how to care and love one another. every interaction with a stranger can be a lesson for me. they all have something for me to learn from, bad or good. good people taught me to be a better person, by everything they did for me, by the way they helped or shared.

ReplyDeleteWinter Olympic is currently doing. In the Olympic, South Korean snowboard athlete makes a miracle! His name is Lee sang ho. He gets a silver medal! The medal is the first medal in Asian. Actually Korean doesn't have a site to practice the snowboard. So he practiced on the snow sled site even the site was a plantation of cabbage. however, he didn’t give up his dream. He practices every day for his winter Olympic. Finally, he makes a miracle it is very big bliss for him and his country. I was inspired by his miracle. He shows we can do everything in any condition if we have an earnest purpose.

DeleteThere's a huge difference between Chinese education and Canadian education. Personally, I believe schools in Canada is less competitive and gives students more freedom to make their own decision. Based on the huge population that China has, 1/1000 students can get into the top university. The phenomenon “the better university you go to, the better job you will have” lead to a higher importance of marks, which pushes students there work all day and all night. Referring to the course selection, Canadian high school have more selective courses. However, in China, all courses are compulsive, so you can not pick for your interests.

This process of education is chosen by those people who have resources and time to go for it. And students knows what they have needed to do what teachers assign task for them. It's really important to learn something because in our future we can knows better like manners etc.

ReplyDeleteEducation in China is very different from that in Canada. In China, students study in order to test the university, postgraduate, and have decent work in the future. And can admitted to a good university, it depends on the college entrance examination. Different from China's exam-oriented education, Canada's education is very flexible. Canada's curriculum is very rich, students are free to choose. The school also organizes a variety of activities to develop students' creativity, imagination, organizational skills and teamwork skills. In Canada will be more relaxed and free.

ReplyDeleteWho really are the hidden figures in our society today? Maybe a young Syrian children who are hiding underground to save their lives from the bombings in Syria and asks for our help. Maybe a child who is trying to learn how to walk without being noticed by her mom and/or her dad. Maybe a student who always tries to get a high grade but wants to get his parents’ attention. Maybe a teacher that gives his 1000% best to make sure that his students can learn new things every single day. Or a beggar who used his only $20 bill to helped a woman by buying her a gas for her to be home safely. These are just some examples of people who count themselves as hidden figures. We also are one of these hidden figures. We may not notice or realize what we do every single day but we surely make the world into a better place. We help each other without anything in exchange. It is not about whether your black or white. It is not about what country you came from. It is not about what we learned from school. It is about the lessons that we got from each other lives. Applying these lessons to help each other. To fight against inequality, racism, injustice, and other forms of social discrimination. We all are hidden figures because even though we are not being noticed by other people around the world we help and contribute in our society every single day. ReplyDeleteThe education that changed my life is at Canada because at here the teachers don’t give us to much homework usually we finish our homework in classes and teachers don’t give us to much pressure . At here you can choose what you like of your own courses but in China you can not choose your own courses . In China you have to study very hard if you don’t study hard you can not go university or collage at China is a bit difficult to go university because you have to pass all the subjects like math , science.....

Canadians eduction gives students opportunitys to do lot of things and more experiences, the good thing is that if your pick courses and somewhat you don't like it you you have a chance to change them it is not the end of the world. When I came to Canada I noticed that 95% of students like to go to school because they get a strong eduction and teachers don't give students much homework and assignments and presentations and most of teachers,people, and employees are kind and they give students more chances to be more successful. Teachers let students feel more motivated and enthusiastic in their life.

ReplyDeleteConcealment, falsehood definition HYPOCRISY to tell you that hypocrisy is a very bad thing I think the community should try gradually to suppress hypocrisy because hypocrisy makes you act falsely for example it's as if I pretend to love my neighbor I smile with him I say hello to him yet my heart is full of hatred for him. I think we should be frank to each other being comfortable not need to smile if you do not want it is the act of acting falsely. BE HONEST TO YOUR NEXT THIS IS THOUGHT. Ask yourself this question why do I act falsely with this person ?? if you find a good reason to talk to this person tell him the reason and fear that he will change his behavior and you will start to appreciate it or if you do not find a good reason change your behavior because it is you the problem.

After Middle School, I came to Canada to study, in this country, I’m a international student, we have so many races even more than my province, and different languages, religions. Everything was different for me, like skin, attitude, and logic, I know how to accept and respect different this is my education’s experience. ReplyDeleteI believe that Canada has a good education equips a person for life, not just a career. While I study here I learned that the education in Canada is different from my country because they try to expose children to the basic content foundation they need to make sense of their world. Skills are essential — being able to gain information, judge it for accuracy and bias, make sense of it, see the connections and patterns to other information, solve problems using it, form opinions about it, and communicate both info, connection, opinion and solution clearly to other people — are the necessary skills a good education should teach. Including, I believe that Canada has a good education as Canada have encounters others shaped in my life

ReplyDeleteI will definitely choose teachers. As the saying goes, "young are strong, the country strong." However, now I want to change it to "the teacher is strong, the country strong." I believe this because education is the most important thing in every country. How to move our countries forward depends on our teachers.
As you can see, behind every successful person is their teacher, no one can succeed on their own, because on their path to growth, more or less they meet someone who will help or even hurt them, who we call "teachers."
I am grateful to all who helped or even hurt me, even though they have hurt me, because every single difficulty in our lives teaches us and reminds us not to make that mistake again.
We know that there was still racism in the United States in the 1960s. Blacks and whites had different status. When they work in the company, Black people could not drink coffee in the company's coffee pot, in addition all black employees could only go to the colored restroom one mile away.
However, all black people were always working hard, although a lot of the white people often made things difficult for them. She used unbelievable talent and enriched math skills proving that she is the best one, and she received the US President's Medal of Freedom.
The education that we take in school and the science that we learn it help us a lot in the real life. For example science help us understand how the body work and if we get sick and we go to the doctor the doctor will know what is wrong in your body and he will help you, the doctor helped because he studied that. Same thing to the engineers they build a lot of strong building and calculate things and they wouldn’t do that without studying. The studying help us understand the would better and how it works, studies make our life easier.

ReplyDeleteWhenever we hear about the phrase "Hidden Figures", we thought of those people who are not that much credited enough for their actions or things they do. On my perspective, I would say those Overseas Filipino Workers or OFWs, but not just Filipinos, all of those people around the world who works overseas just to provide for their families. Those peoples could be worthy to be called as Hidden Figures because of their hard works and sacrifices but very few recognizes it. They left their homes just to provide good life or help for their families, but in order to do that, they overcome the pain of being away from them. They don't just help to provide for their own families, but also for the country that they're working at. I really respect them not just for their resiliency but also for their contribution to the world.

We more focus on our social media and our friends. but we forget about our parents.So we should give a little attention and time for our parents. ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the hidden figures are the ones who are making and developing new and attractive video games, that makes the all the people especially the teenagers to play these games for most of their time playing and waste their time on it, which is really bad for them and for their future. These video games are directly affecting the future of our world, because most of the teenagers does not study and even care about school, they prefer stay playing all day , and when I talk about future, I am mentioning all the teenager and newborn child, because they are the people of tomorrow who got hooked by these video games and other things that are killing them slowly.
