  4. Personally, I believe study about history not only informs you about the past events, but also reminds you to rethink before making a decision. We make impact on the current society using the same method we learn from success in the past, and avoid making same mistakes as our ancestors did in the failure events. As far as I know, all of the chairman of my country knows a lot about world history. They interact with other people very often and their decisions matters the whole country. They have huge responsibilities so they learn from history and make sure that they always make the right choice.

Well I honestly believe history is important especially in this generation. Because history happened along time ago. The reason that I enjoy learning history is because I’ve always liked to know how ancient people lived like and it’s actually very enjoyable and when you sit down and listen to old good realistic story’s

  13. I think it ‘s very important to learn about slavery because we have to correct the wrong thing in society. Slavery insulted black people’s right and honor. For example is the story of harriet tubman. She was one of slaveries and she wanted to be free from the bondage of slavery. Finally she decided to evade Maryland to North and she rescued a lot of people who suffered from slavery. Underground Railroad was the way to save people. I wonder about slavery in the United States that once slaves were freed, was their life immediately better. The answer is yes and no. They are free now but they still have problem about finding job.

  14. I believe the reasons behind why the people take risks to be free is because of the human's common sense gives them the power to feel they born to be free ,to express themselves ( ideas, beliefs ) ,to live comfortably without any peruse and to be equal no matter the ( colour's skin , origin .. etc )
Also it belongs to the self love that they strongly opposed anyone to has control over them in badly way or anyone decides their fate because they might make wrongs , Unresponsible and dangerous decisions .

For example the journey of the Syrian refugees across the mediterranean sea , it was an unbelievable insecure setuation, and the point of this example is to show how much the human spirit can do to reach freedom and to live safe .

  16. 2. I believe that learning about slavery is so important, because through it we know what was the history of the Americans people, and how did they treat the black people, because they were coloured , and how the Americans thought that they were better than them, the slavery was one of the darkest chapters of the American history, and the Africans will never forget what did they do to them by getting them to America in ships and make them work unpaid in fields of tobacco, cotton and working in houses. Harriet Tubman is a very brave and a smart woman, she decided to sacrifice her time and her life helping others and leading them on the Underground Railroadand. Eventually she led 13 missions of rescuing and helped about 70 to 80 slaves to enslave them which was a great thing. When I was reading the Harriet Tubman story, I got a few questions in my head, and it was “ Why did American do that? Why didn’t they paid them? Was that done for a reason? Are there any slavery or racism are going on nowadays? Eventually I really respectand what did that black people in their past, and try to avoid what the Americans were doing, because we are all equal, no one is better that anybody

  17. History is an abstract idea that represents the past. History is a great thing, it defines who or what we are in the present. It is quite important to learn it, in fact it's essential for us to know it, so that we allow ourselves to re-evaluate what we have become or what has been changed from us over time. One of humans darkest history is slavery. For example, the black peoples were enslaved in the United States, they serve their masters without their own free will. Now, we learn about our dark history for it to serve as our prevention and our principles. We make sure that we keep from where it was, in our history. Several people struggled against slavery from past, those people took enough courage to try to fight oppression, like one of the most iconic black woman of 1840, Harriet Tubman. She fought slavery for power and freedom to make everybody equal or be treated as a living creature, a human, not somebody's tool. Every living body in this world is born with freedom, if we're being oppressed, we should take actions before history repeats itself. If we don't who will?.

  18. -Why is it important to learn about our history?

History is a real thing of the past. Immediately we are learning about a fact of our ancestor. We
have to keep from the repeating wrong things. History can prevent from it because the history experienced the situation first. It will give an example or solution. This is reason it is important to learn history.

-Why do people take great risks to be free?

People want to get equal opportunity without any discrimination for example skin colour, sex, disable, fortune and so on. So they take great risk to make a world without discrimination.
The biggest example is Martin Luther King and history of Woman Suffrage.

  19. -Why it is important to learn our history?

-I learned not to repeat histories mistakes and to treat everyone equal regardless of race. From history and some important heroic figures, we learn how to brave and how to help other people. History allowed us to learn from experience and a country’s culture.

  20. Learning their history helps us understand their pain and turmoils, and humankind’s mistakes in inflicting pain on another race so that we do not repeat the same mistakes in the present and can create a more harmonious, peaceful future for all.

  22. Learning history gives us a better understanding of the current world , since it helps us to understand more current cultures, and most culture differences are caused by different history they’ve experienced. For example, by learning Chinese agricultural history, we can understand why Chinese prefer to eat rice and noddles, and why they give less respect to farmers. With the knowledge of cultural differences, a better understanding of the world will be in your mind.

  23. In my opinion, learning about history is the most basic skill for everyone. everyone shouldn't forget your country's history. we need to understand where are we from and where are we going.
The reason why I want to study history courses in this semester is because learning history brings me closer to my dream.
When we started the first and second class, we did not learn from the textbooks that seemingly boring history, the teacher is inspired by our historical thinking, teach us why we need to learn history. This method I think every student will love it, and in any case, I think the history of teaching is like this, they need to teach you what is history and why we need to learn it.
So this is why history is important. At least that's what I think.

  24. Why it is important to learn about our history?
History is important to learn because it gives us the opportunity to see how daily life has changed over the years, and what goes into the fostering that change. Our past can have a huge impact on our future we need that inspiration to teach us that. You will have a better understanding of the world and what shaped it into the world it is today. You will understand the suffering, joy, and chaos that were necessary for the present day to happen.
